Statpearls vs UWORLD Question Bank Price Comparison for USMLE Step 1 Studying
One of the resources that made my life easier in medical school was the Statpearls Question Bank. The qbank is not well known but it is definitely high quality. You can read more about what I think about the statpearls qbank here.
Many people I know will disagree with me on this because it is considered the gold standard of board prep, but I did not find UWORLD as helpful because I found the questions to be a bit too convoluted. This is one of the reasons why I preferred to use Statpearls.
The other reason why I preferred Statpearls over Uworld is because from a price standpoint, I am getting more bang for my buck. For example, for 6 months you can get 6000 statpearls questions for 349. If you take a look at UWORLD, it costs a whopping $439.00 for only 2 months.
If I had to pick between these two banks again I would go with statpearls.
Not only is the price more affordable, but the questions are all peer-reviewed and are extremely helpful for brushing up on difficult-to-understand concepts.
