Is Notion.so Worth it?
Notion.so is a productivity app that allows users to customize their own workspaces. It serves a variety of functions and has features such as pre made templates for to do lists, reading lists, and even even allows users to create a teamspace that multiple people can work in. In this article i will be giving an objective review of Notion.so and letting you know whether it is worth using.

Why is notion.so popular?
I think the Popularity of notion.so comes from the fact that it helps people to organize themselves and reduce the clutter that exists in our brains due to all of the day to day craziness in our lives. Even with all of the stuffy that I keep on Notion.so I cant help but feel a sense of calm every time I open up the notion.so app and see how neatly organized all of my important documents are.
One of the other things I think which makes notion.so very popular is how easy it is to use. If you want to create another page on the side panel all you have to do is click the button which says new page and then name your page. Thats it! it is literally as simple as that. Additionally You can also just duplicate an already existing page and just have the new copy appear without the already existing content.
What is Notion.so used for?
There are a variety of ways to use Notion.so. Personally as somoene with ADHD, I use notion.so in a few different ways
1. To do List
I am extremely forgetful. Every morning I try to write down important things that I need to accomplish however, halfway through the day I end up forgetting literally everything I have to do.
With Notion.so because I am always on it I have it set up so that one of my custom pages is a document that has a list of things that I need to accomplish through out the rest of the day.
2. Central location
One of the things that irritates me is when I am working on a project or a task and the things that I need are located in different locations. This may seem like a very trivial annoyance but the reality is that having to constantly change windows on a mac book or minimize a page to open up google docs. takes its toll on my attention span. With Notion.so, if there is an important google docs file that I need access to I can simply copy and paste the link put it under an untitled page. For example, lets look at the below page which I have titled Used Connex. This document contains links to ad materials that I need to sell storage units on facebook marketplace.
It contains things such as photos, titles descriptions, pricing pages etc.
Rather than constantly having to switch windows I can instead have my computer set to double screen mode and then have all the materials I need to make my ad like this in the same viewing plane.
Notion.so makes the process of making doing tasks way more efficient as well as less cumbersome!
3. Storage
For Me Notion.so also functions as an extra storage unit because I dont have to copy and paste a while bunch of links onto my notes app, and I also do not have to save a bunch of microsoft word documents onto my computers drive.
Some of the things I keep stored on notion.so include things such as drafts of articles, photos, templates for emails. Important study links and resources and many other things!
4. Templates
I have always hated recreating things over and over. I cannot count how many times I am writing an email and I think to myself, man I literally sent this same email like 1 month ago. i dont know why I cant find where it is.

- sometimes making a numbered list can be a bit difficult
- images may take some time to load after you copy and past (very rarely occurs)
Is using Notion worth it?
Overall I would say that notion.so is 100% worth it. it doesnt matter if you are a student, a business excecutive or a freelance blogger, Notion.so can help you stay organized and have improve the quality and efficiency of your workflow. Additionally the app is completely free so you dont have much to lose by trying it out for yourself
