Similar to Picmonic, Sketchy uses colorful mnemonic devices and story telling to help with long term memorization. it specializes mainly in microbiology and pharmacology. The pharmacology cover everything from mechanism of action, indications, and side effects.

This is a good resource because of the sheer volume of questions. Additionally the interface allows you to search up specific drugs on the search function. This is a good thing because it allows you to quickly find what you are looking for and have a more targeted study session. Stat pearls has an entire question bank bundle that is devoted entirely to pharmacology.

Amboss

Amboss is a great resource for pharmacology because of how this platform organizes the various drug classes. Each drug class is included in the organ system in which it is most relevant to. So for instance Ace inhibitors, and angiotensin Receptor blockers are found in the Cardiology and Angiology section. This level of organization helps to categorize and better recall information because you can associate the function of a drug to the relevant organ system.

Additionally, the high level of organization for pharmacology makes studying in general a lot less chaotic since you do not have to spend a long amount of time searching around for where information on a particular drug might be located.
