Interlinked information in the feedback section

In addition to being extremely detailed, the explanations in True learn also show you where in Picmonic the relevant topic for the question stem can be found.

This makes the process of reviewing incorrect practice test questions extremely efficient and streamlined as it eliminates to need to flip through pages of huge textbook or scour the entirety of the internet just to look for clarification on one concept

TrueLearn Question Bank Explanations: charts

At the conclusion of each question, True learn contains the information in short and succinct charts. These charts mainly help to categorize and distinguish important pieces of information that are relevant to the question stem. One way to quiz yourself on the information in these charts would be to go to Picmonic and take a quiz on a Picmonic playlist of videos rather than a specific video. So for instance if there was a chart classifying the various nephrotic syndromes, Picmonic will have that same information in a video playlist. If there is  a specific nephrotic syndrome that you wanted to review such as focal segmental glomerulonephritis, then you could also take a specific quiz just on that one disease in Picmonic.

True Learn will not just help you with content but it will also help you improve your test taking ability. This is demonstrated  in the Decision Analysis section and the Smart Card Feature.

Is TrueLearn Accurate?

While TrueLearn is still a new company and continues to collect user data, would say that it is still fairly accurate. This is for two reasons. the first is that TrueLearn only collects user responses on their first attempt at questions so as not to get inaccurate information about the percentage correct on certain questions.

The Second Reason is that, I personally have taken questions from multiple other question banks and I score on average about the same as I score with TrueLearn. While I am only an n of 1 I still think there is something to be said here about the reliability of TrueLearn’s questions.
